What an amazing blessing it is to have good friends – people to enjoy and share life with. God has truly blessed Dustin and I with some amazing friends that we love dearly. Tonight, some of our favorite people, Laura and Ben; Zach and Allison, planned a girls night out for me since Dustin is in Guatemala and I’ve been so busy with the girls. The guys played with the girls (and even put them to bed) while us girls went out to dinner. Their kindness and generosity is overwhelming. To them it is just a night out, but to the girls and I,it is so much more – as they share their time, love on Makenzie and Macy and give me a little break – it means more than words can say.
On Saturday, June 21st, I officially posted my fastest 5k time and am SO EXCITED! I’m only more motivated to get faster at this point. My official time was 22:54:38 – I’ll take it. I actually placed 4th in my age group out of 121 and 59th overall – male and female. There were almost 1700 runners. My last stat – the 20th female to cross the finish line! I’m loving it and all my not so exciting training in the church parking lot.
Much love and thanks to my amazing hubby, Dustin, for marking out how far a mile is in the parking lot behind our house. This allows me to train while the girls take their afternoon nap – not too exciting running circles in a parking lot, but totally worth it when my training is paying off! Love it!

I made this post again because it is truly the story of our life – we have truly received one blessing after another. Not that our life is perfect or we never encounter any struggles or trials – but God is always pouring our his mercy and love on us – never failing to show up – always making Himself known through the Word, answered prayer, relationships and trying circumstances.
